Teriyaki Kabobs Recipe

4-6 Skewers

1 Package Seitan Bites

½ Bell Pepper or any vegetable that you want

¼ Onion or any vegetable

1-2 cloves crushed garlic

1 tsp ginger paste

3 TBS Soy Sauce (or soy free alternative)

3 TBS Mirin (rice wine)

1 ½ TBS Peanut oil (other oils will be fine but not as authentic tasting)

Dash Toasted Sesame Oil

½ tsp Toasted Sesame Seeds

1 Freja’s Foods Gourmet Sauce Packet

Soak skewers in water to prevent burning.  Cut bell peppers, onions and or any vegetable you like into at least 1” pieces. In a separate bowl mix together remaining ingredients. This is the Teriyaki sauce. Skewer your Seitan and Vegetables in any order you wish. Thoroughly coat Kabobs with sauce and let marinate at least 1 hour or overnight (in the refrigerator, of course). Fire up the grill and cook your kabobs. They will cook faster than meat so turn often and keep an eye on them. Baste with any additional sauce during and after cooking. Enjoy!
